From the counter to delivery day

This is how an abaya order moves through Darjina, from the moment your customer walks in until she collects her abaya.

  1. 1

Your customer arrives… type her number

On the home screen, type your customer's mobile number. If she's registered with your shop, she appears as you type and you select her. If she's new, you add her name and number with the country code, and she's created in the same step.

The search covers your shop's customers only.

  2. 2

    Measurements on the abaya picture

If your customer has earlier measurements, they appear ready for you to review or update. If she's new, you enter each measurement in its place on the picture, in centimetres: length, shoulder, bust, waist, hips, sleeve and armhole.

Old measurements are never erased; they stay in her history.

  3. 3

    Receipt details

The price, number of pieces, order description and expected delivery date, which the app suggests based on your shop's completion time. The receipt number is assigned automatically.

  4. 4

    The deposit

Record what your customer paid today. The app calculates the balance instantly and saves the payment with its date, branch and who received it.

  5. 5

    The receipt on WhatsApp

One tap creates a PDF receipt with your shop's logo, name and number, sent to your customer on WhatsApp or any app you choose. The receipt shows only her name and mobile number.

  6. 6

    Tracking while it's being sewn

The order appears in the orders list by delivery date. The shop owner can assign it to a tailor. If your customer comes back with another payment, it's recorded in the receipt's history. When the work is finished, the order is marked "Completed" with the actual completion date.

Late orders and orders due today show up on the owner dashboard.

  7. 7

    Delivery

Your customer collects her abaya; you record the final payment and the "Paid in full" badge appears. Then you change the status to "Delivered". If a balance remains, the order can still be delivered after a confirmation message, and the balance stays visible.

And if something changes?

Cancelling an order

An order is cancelled with a reason. Staff can cancel a pending order; the shop owner can also cancel a completed one and can restore a cancelled order. A delivered order cannot be cancelled.

Changing the price

The shop owner changes the price with a reason, and the change is kept in the history. The price can never be lower than the amount already paid.

Refunding money

The shop owner records a refund, or reverses a payment entered by mistake, as a new entry, so the history stays complete and clear.

A status set by mistake

Status never moves backwards on its own; the shop owner corrects it when needed.

And at the end of the day

The shop owner opens the dashboard to see today's collections, balances due and late orders, and sends the day's summary on WhatsApp. Staff see in "My day" what they recorded today in their branch.
